An implant is not a single appointment. Most of the timeline is healing – the implant fusing with your jawbone – and that part cannot be rushed.
Consultation and CBCT Scan
A 3D cone beam scan shows the bone in the area, so Dr Foo can see exactly where an implant can be placed and whether any grafting is needed first.
Implant Surgery
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic, using a surgical guide planned from your scan. Minimally invasive, and you go home the same day.
Healing and Integration
The implant fuses with the jawbone. This is the long part of the timeline. Where the gap is visible, a temporary tooth can be worn while you wait.
Your Crown Is Fitted
A ceramic crown is made to match the teeth either side and fitted onto the implant. From then on it is cleaned like a natural tooth.
6-Monthly Regular Check
Afterwards, your implant is checked at your usual six-monthly clean and polish. Brush and floss it exactly like a natural tooth.

What is my downtime of getting a Dental Implant?
Expect 2-3 days of eating soft diet and having some painkillers after the surgical procedure. Good news is most of our patients only take 1 day of pain medication after surgery.

Our range of Dental Implant is from RM6500-9500 per unit depending on the type of implant and complexity of case to case basis.
Will there be a temporary tooth replacement ?
Yes, we will prepare a temporary tooth/teeth if needed especially for front teeth while waiting for the implant to heal.
